Since 1978 Danceline Productions has been making a positive impact on dancers all across Texas through our summer camp programs and fall and spring contests. We are very excited about our new Weatherford location where we will offer dance and technique classes throughout the entire year!

The concept of our Danceline Academy is the same as our summer camps. Our desire is to make a positive difference in everything we do. Our professional staff will amaze you with their talent and passion for our mission. Our goal is not to compete with other dance studios, but to offer something in addition to what is already here in the Weatherford area. Our classes are based by semester and can be joined at any time. The focus is on improving technique, learning exciting choreography, and character building. New classes will be added each semester based on interest and availability. Our classes are open to anyone no experience required!

We will have classes for various ages and dance levels from absolute beginner to advanced levels.

All Danceline Programs are directed by Jennifer Gardner Boyd, former Weatherford College Gold Duster Director.

If you are currently a student with Danceline Academy or The Weatherford Dance Center or enroll more than one dancer your $25 registration fee is waived. No registration fee for Drill Team Prep or Adult Jazz. If you take more than one class or have more than one family member $10 off for monthly fees. Call or e-mail our office should you have questions on pricing. Remember to register early! Dancers can join at any time during the spring, but best pricing is for those who pay for entire semester. Please note fees are non-refundable.

Danceline Staff & Academy Instructors — All Danceline Academy instructors are experienced professional dance staff. They have experience in public school education as well as dance studio instruction, college dance teams, are former directors, have counseling experience and much more.

Class Descriptions

Jazz/Turns & Leaps
Begins Jan 22 Fun high energy classes with the latest jazz trends. 50 minute classes offering full warm-up, technique, and jazz combinations in all styles including lyrical, hip hop and street jazz. Each class will focus on improving leap and turn technique. Also open to adults.
Drill Team
This is our specialty! Our instructors have performed across the country and around the world with their performance teams. 50 minute classes offering full warmup, technique and jazz combinations focusing on jazz, precision dance high kicks. These classes are our performing groups and will require a costume fee to be paid the first month. Groups will perform in the annual Blue Belle Spring Show and other community events.

Drill Team Prep
7 week class—Jan 22—Mar 6.
Drill/Dance Team Tryouts are coming at the end of March! Get totally prepared with Danceline Drill Prep classes. These classes will help the dancer improve flexibility, jazz technique, splits, kicks, leaps, turns, showmanship and overall performance skills. Our instructors are not only trained in drill team, but are also experienced drill team judges. They will teach dancers what they need to know! Best prices are for entire 7 week period. This class is open to all ages.

Class Schedule
Please note dancers can join at any time during the 7 week period and attend unlimited classes. Each class structure will be similarly based and will cater to the dancers attending that day. They will not be “behind” if they miss a class. Classes are $25 per class or special rates apply if dancers pay for multiple classes up front. No free classes may be attended.

Class Breakdown
20 Minutes—Warmup, stretching, strengthening—Dancers will work toward obtaining flexibility for splits and high kicks and work on proper body placement
20 Minutes—Technique Work—Dancers will focus on improving kick technique and timing, basic jazz skills and style, turns, leaps and jumps for precision dance through center work and movement across the floor.
15 Minutes—Dance Combo & Performance Skills—Dancers will learn 2 or 3 eight counts to practice step memorization, timing and showmanship and performance skills.

Adult Jazz—2 Sessions of 7 week classes
Session I= Jan 22-Mar 5
Session II Mar 19—Apr. 30
If you miss dancing as a child or have always wanted to learn this is the class for you! We firmly believe you are never too old to dance or learn something new! A great way to get in shape for the spring! Dance styles will be various jazz including traditional, lyrical, hip-hop and more. While focusing on improving coordination and balance, dancers will also gain flexibility and tone muscles. Bonus—if you recruit a friend to attend class you get a $25 discount! Prices are $75 per session, $125 for both sessions or $18 per class.
Private Lessons
We offer private or small group lessons before or after our regular classes. Fees are $45 per dancer for one hour lesson or $25 per dancer for thirty minute lesson. Sign up and pay for 3 or more lessons and private lesson fee is $35 per hour.
Solo or Group Choreography
All of our instructors are award winning choreographers. We are happy to help you with your choreography for your next event! Prices for solo choreography is $300 for non-Academy and $250 for Danceline Academy students. We need music and payment at least 2 weeks prior to teaching. Choreography fee includes 2 hours of teaching time at Weatherford studio. If we travel to your location a travel fee will apply. Call our office for quotes on groups.
Critic Sessions
Our instructors are all professional judges and offer 30 minute critic sessions for solos or groups. Price is $35 for 30 minute session. Dancers should be prepared to perform routine several times. The instructor will give them constructive advice on improving and work with the dancer (s) on problem areas. This is great preparation for officer tryouts or contest solos. Please schedule at least 2 weeks prior to desired session.
Home-school dance classes— Hour classes during school hours in Jazz, Ballet, & Lyrical Dance designed for students who are not in public school. classes with full warm-up and technique work focusing on traditional jazz, ballet and lyrical jazz style movements and choreography.
Adult Body Conditioning/Jazz -- Forty-five minute classes with full warm-up focusing on building and increasing flexibility, strength and rhythm. For ages 18 and up. A short jazz combo will be included. No dance experience required.
Choreography For Solos And Groups —Two hour class session. Our talented staff will create a routine for your solo or group performance. Choreography is available in jazz, hip hop, lyrical, character, novelty, pom, military, high kick, modern, prop and more! We must have registration at least one month prior to teaching session. Prices are based on number of participants. Call our office for pricing.
Solo Critiques —Fifteen or Thirty Minute Sessions. Get a professional critique from our experienced staff before you take your solo to contest or on stage.
Private Lessons —Thirty minute sessions with one on one attention for technique improvement. Must be scheduled in advance.

Offering Once A Month Master Classes In All Dance Areas— You’ll love this!! Once a month we will have special choreographers to teach sessions for hip hop, jazz, lyrical jazz, ballet and more. This is a great opportunity to let your dancer grow! Master Classes will be set in August. Check our website! Classes will be 11:30 AM—2:00 PM and will be held at the Weatherford Dance Center located on 125 N. Elm Street. Fee is $55. Discounts for groups of 10 or more from same school or studio.
