This staff category is recommended for collegiate and professional individuals who are interested in working at least 4 or more dance camps in the summer.  We offer several different levels and pay scales for summer staff based on experience and summer time commitments.  Typically college students are pursuing a degree in the fields of dance and education or other leadership venues so that their summers are available for camps in the future.  Professionals are typically current or former drill team directors who are able to commit a significant amount of time in the summer to be at camps.  Summer staff are expected to have skills in the areas of leadership, choreography, teaching, and basic business skills. 

Summer Staff are also typically considered staff year-round and expected to work at other events throughout the year. The Summer Staff category has the ability to gain salary increases per year based on summer evaluations and experience. 

Collegiate applicants must submit a full audition packet before April 15 in order to audition for the upcoming summer.  Audition packets are accepted year-round.  To obtain the audition packet, candidates must pay a $25 application fee and send in the attached preliminary application attached to this form.  For collegiate applicants, the audition process will include demonstrating basic dance skills, teaching technique and sample of choreography.  Further details are outlined the packet that will be sent after receipt of preliminary application and fee.
